JBMA is supported by Universiti Utara Malaysia through its institutional scholarly publishing infrastructure and the support of UUM Press.
The journal does not rely on mandatory author publication charges as a condition for publishing accepted scholarly work.
Institutional funding and operational support do not determine manuscript acceptance or editorial outcomes. Editorial decisions remain independent and are based on the journal's published scholarly and ethical criteria.
5. Fee Transparency
Any future introduction or revision of author charges will be clearly disclosed on the JBMA website before submission and will not be applied retrospectively to manuscripts already submitted under a no-fee policy unless authors expressly agree to the change.
Authors should rely on the fee information published on the official JBMA website. Any request for payment that is inconsistent with this policy should be verified with the Editorial Office before any payment is made.
Open Access. No APC. No Publication Fee.
JBMA supports equitable access to scholarly publishing by making its articles openly available while currently charging authors no mandatory fees for submission, peer review or publication.
