We invite rigorous scholarship that connects theory, evidence and real-world organisational challenges.

The Journal of Business Management and Accounting (JBMA), published by UUM Press and managed by the Management & Leadership Case Study Centre, Universiti Utara Malaysia, invites high-quality manuscripts for its forthcoming issues.

JBMA welcomes theoretically grounded and methodologically rigorous scholarship in business management, leadership and accounting, with particular emphasis on case-based, context-rich and practice-relevant research addressing significant organisational and managerial challenges.

What We Are Looking For

We particularly encourage manuscripts that engage with real organisational contexts, managerial decision-making, leadership challenges, governance, accountability, organisational transformation and other contemporary business issues.

Strategic management, leadership, organisational change, human capital, organisational behaviour, crisis management and resilience.

Digital Transformation, Innovation & Entrepreneurship

Artificial intelligence, digital transformation, emerging technologies, innovation, entrepreneurship, SMEs and family businesses.

Sustainability, Governance & Responsible Management

Sustainability, ESG, corporate governance, business ethics, integrity, responsible leadership and stakeholder accountability.

Accounting, Accountability & Organisational Control

Management accounting, auditing, assurance, internal control, risk, performance management and managerial decision-making.

Particular Priority

Case-Based Scholarship

Reflecting JBMA's association with the Management & Leadership Case Study Centre, particular priority will be given to strong case-based submissions.

Contexts and Contributions
