Editorial Update

A renewed scholarly direction built around rigorous research, real organisational contexts and stronger connections between theory and practice.

The Journal of Business Management and Accounting (JBMA) is entering a new phase of editorial development aimed at strengthening its scholarly identity, coherence and relevance to contemporary organisational challenges.

Reflecting its association with the Management & Leadership Case Study Centre, Universiti Utara Malaysia, JBMA is placing greater emphasis on case-based, context-rich and practice-relevant scholarship.

What does this mean for JBMA?

The journal will continue to publish high-quality research in business management, leadership and accounting, while giving greater priority to studies that examine meaningful organisational problems, managerial decisions and real-world business challenges.
