Archiving Policy

JCIA supports the long-term preservation and continued availability of its published scholarly content through established digital archiving arrangements. These include the Universiti Utara Malaysia Institutional Repository (UUM-IR), as well as the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS archival systems based at Stanford University Libraries in the United States, via the PKP Private LOCKSS and CLOCKSS Network program.

The LOCKSS Program at Stanford Libraries provides open-source technologies and services for high-confidence, resilient, secure digital preservation.

CLOCKSS is a non-profit dark archive that stores all JCIA content. If content is no longer available from any participating publisher, then CLOCKSS is able to make it available as open access.
