Scope and Scholarly Focus
JCIA publishes theoretical, methodological, empirical, and applied research across computational mathematics, applied mathematics, decision sciences, statistics, probability and uncertainty, computer science applications, and artificial intelligence. The journal particularly welcomes studies that develop, evaluate, extend, or apply mathematical, statistical, probabilistic, computational, and analytical methods to address theoretical and practical problems.
Contributions should demonstrate clear scholarly significance, methodological rigour, and relevance to the journal’s core disciplines. Interdisciplinary research is encouraged where mathematics, statistics, uncertainty modelling, decision-oriented methods, or computational approaches form a substantive component of the study.
Types of Contributions
JCIA welcomes original research articles and scholarly review articles that make a substantive contribution to computational, quantitative, mathematical, statistical, or analytical research.
Open Access Policy
JCIA is an open-access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
