1 Submission & Initial Screening
01Author submits manuscript

The author submits the manuscript and all required files through the journal's OJS submission system.

 
02Manuscript logged and receipt acknowledged

The submission is recorded in OJS and an acknowledgement is sent to the author.

 
03Technical check by Managing Editor (ME)
The Managing Editor checks completeness, formatting, required declarations and compliance with journal guidelines.
Amendments requiredAuthor is notified to amend and resubmit.
Requirements metSubmission proceeds to fast screening.
 
04Fast screening by Chief Editor (CE)
The Chief Editor assesses scope, originality, academic quality and overall suitability.
Not suitableDesk rejection.
SuitableProceed to the first editorial review.
2 Editorial & Peer Review
05Send to Section Editor (SE) for first review
The Section Editor conducts an initial review before external peer review.
Major issuesReject if major revision and excessive amendments are required.
ProceedSend to the second reviewer.
 
06Send to second reviewer

The manuscript is assigned for an additional independent review.

 
07Receive reviewers' feedback

Review reports and recommendations are returned to the journal through OJS.

 
08Section Editor evaluates the reviews
The Section Editor assesses the reviewers' recommendations and the quality of the reports.
Major issuesReject if major revision and excessive amendments are required.
Revision possibleSummarize comments and resolve conflicting recommendations.
 
09Send reviewers' comments to author

Consolidated feedback and revision instructions are sent to the author.

3 Revision & Final Decision
10Author submits revised manuscript

The author uploads the revised manuscript together with a response to the reviewers' comments.

 
11Section Editor evaluates the author's corrections
The Section Editor checks whether the requested corrections have been addressed adequately.
Not addressedReject if the author did not address the comments.
IncompleteRequest further amendments and return to the author.
 
12Approval by Chief Editor
The Chief Editor makes the final editorial decision.
Further work requiredRequest additional amendments.
ApprovedManuscript is accepted.
4 Production & Publication
13Manuscript accepted and author notified

The acceptance decision is recorded and the corresponding author receives formal notification.

 
14Language editing

The accepted manuscript undergoes language and copyediting to improve clarity and consistency.

 
15Page layout

The manuscript is typeset according to the journal's publication format.

 
16Layout proof by author(s)

The author checks the proof and reports essential corrections before publication.

 
Publication The final article is published in the journal.
