About the Journal

The Malaysian Journal of Islamic Development (MyJID), published by UUM Press, Universiti Utara Malaysia, provides a scholarly platform for research and discourse on development management and the social sciences from an Islamic perspective, covering both Malaysian and international contexts across academic and industry settings.

MyJID welcomes submissions from scholars, researchers, postgraduate students, and practitioners worldwide. Manuscripts may be submitted in Malay or English and should present original, high-quality research, scholarly knowledge, or critical reflections relevant to the journal's scope and thematic focus.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. Each manuscript is evaluated by two reviewers appointed by the Editorial Board based on their expertise in the relevant discipline.

MyJID is published annually in July. In support of accessible scholarly publishing, the journal does not charge any manuscript processing or publication fees.
