About the Journal

Malaysian Management Journal (MMJ) is a refereed management journal that publishes annually in July. MMJ is indexed by the Malaysian Citation Index (MyCite), Asian Digital Library (ADL), ASEAN Citation Index (ACI), and Directory of Open Access (DOAJ). The journal is published by the UUM Press, Universiti Utara Malaysia. MMJ is publication fully funded by Universiti Utara Malaysia.

Aims and Scope

MMJ welcomes any manuscripts in both English and Bahasa Melayu in the field of business and behavioural studies. The overarching aim of MMJ is to publish articles that focus on empirical research findings, theoretical development, and practical applications in the following niche areas:

  • Behavioural Accounting
  • Business Ethics
  • Leadership
  • Team/Group Studies
  • Environment Social Governance (ESG) Management (Business Sustainability)

Open Access Policy

MMJ is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.

Archiving Policy

This journal subscribes LOCKSS and CLOCKSS archival system based at Stanford University Libraries, United Kingdom, through PKP Private LOCKSS and CLOCKSS Network program.
